Nic, I tried out Answerit yesterday too.

But I'm extremely surprised that you cannot view the users' profiles. What if you consistently provide Good Answers - shouldn't you be able to benefit from some traffic to your site?

I'd also like to see whether the answers I get are from qualified sources - I should be able to check their blog/website surely?

This would be an awesome tool for professionals: trawl Answerit, answer the questions that you are an expert at, get rewarded with traffic. Searchable answers that prove you know what you're talking about.

I actually asked this very question on Answerit ... and got some pretty stupid replies : http://shrunklink.com/apjx

Answerit is a great idea, but right now it's just a toy. I wonder if Media24 intends to make this a serious tool by giving entrepreneurs a chance to do some seriously practical marketing.

Ye, think it's impressive, but makes me wonder if they have people employed to answer? Either way, it's good.

Wow I'm surprised at the amount of activity the site has generated in just a day, I asked a question 30 mins ago and already have 8 answers with a few great ones.

http://answerit.24.com//Question/Question.aspx?QuestionID=625

My Yahoo questions I asked a few months ago only received answers from 1 or 2 people.
