Timbaland's always had a signature style. And it has evolved over the years, but (like many producers, i'm sure) he recycles or borrows from himself (same instruments, drum patterns, etc.) so a lot sounds similar. That's been true as long as i've been listening to his stuff.

But for whatever reason, the mainstream is latching on to this latest "version" of his style. So yes, i like your analogy. He is that flavor that everyone wants or asks for, even if they don't know what it means. They know it'll be popular---even if it sounds like all the other popular stuff he makes.

Yasser, it's not, listen to the video's above, they all have the same beat, the same feel, the same...signature. It's not that it's not good, it's good, it's just been done already...by him. He needs to develop!

Timberland is the Maestro!
what's so special about him , is that he is not limited to any particular genre of music,
Hip Hop, R&b, Rock& Roll, Pop, he is superb whenever he does his thing!

Hey Nic, i disagree with this statement "... everything he does sounds the same ..."

Everything he does is completely fresh!
