Because she is doing something that is inexcusable. She is flaunting her addiction and questionable behaviour to all those who hold her as a role model. That is not right, ever, she needs to go and get herself clean. Before that, she is a bitch who is making her life acceptable. Simple.

I’m sorry Nic, I know its a bad role model but that in my mind is music. Drugs tend to lead towards creativity. I agree with you that it is disgusting but Bill Hicks makes a good point, if you don’t like it then stop listening to music.

I agree, drugs exist and have produced some of the best musicians ever. Have you ever thought that it is possible for musicians to produce astounding music without drugs? Do you think possibly that the music they produced could have been better if they were sober? Just a thought.

Furthermore do you all think that just because it happens it’s ok? I don’t. I think it’s time that those in positions of power/fame take some fucking responsibility for their situations. We glorify them, we make them what they are, have some respect, sober up and make something fashionable that is good for the world. Drugs are not. Ever.

Yes yes yes, me being harsh, moaning, ranting again, but let’s be honest, you love it. And you love that I say what everyone is thinking. It is such a pity that she pisses me off cause I really do enjoy her music but will never buy it and support her addictions.

Bit late on this, but apparently her VISA to Canada to accept the award was denied and her manager had to accept it on her behalf. I don’t follow these things, but this is what my girlfriend tells me, so don’t playa hate if I’m wrong.

I couldn’t agree with you more, I hope that she overcomes this cause her voice could be the voice of the decade, if she doesn’t fuck it up with her abuse. Which will probably end up happening. And a good voice/musical career does not justify the image that she is portraying, her lack of appreciation for her life. That is the message she is sending to her young and impressionable fans. Inexcusable.
