Hi and welcome to my blog! If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting and do come back.
I stopped at a BP this morning to fill my car up with petrol. I did what I have done a million times before; I gave the gentlemen my keys, asked him to please fill up the car and went to draw money from the ATM.
Alas the ATM was not working. I found the owner of the store wandering around and told him. He made some small talk joke about me breaking it, haha, thanks where can I get money?
He laughed, looked at me, laughed, looked at an advert, chuckled - in frustration now - and told me that BP have spent a boat load of money advertising that they now accept debit cards as payment for petrol.
Who knew about this? Who has heard a BP advert? Have you? ‘Cause I haven’t.
Anyways, I think it’s fantastic. I never really quite understoof why petrol was the one thing that was either cash or petro-card that almost no one had.
Get to a BP today and pay with your debit card. You know why? Because they like to keep you moving.

Hey Nic, have you heard of BP Fuelmaster? It’s a little keyring / smartcard that is linked to your garage card. So all the petrol attendant does is stick it to the pump, fills your tank up, and you drive. No paper, no waiting to sign slips, nothing.
It’s like a formula 1 pitstop. Well… almost.
Hahahaha, to be honest, in my little Fiat, nothing will ever be like an F1 pitstop!!
But thanks, I will definitely look in to it. This is the sort of stuff that I think people need to know about!
