It appears as though Facebook have gone local. They have pretty much done what I would have expected them to do. They have regionalised their site.

The new Facebook marketplace is specific to the South African network and will definitely open up Facebook in ways that will expand the site greatly. The only frustrating thing about the SA marketplace is that things are still being listen with prices in pounds, euros and dollars. Get with it, we work in Rands here Zuckerburg.
