SMS spam out of control - Homemark

Hi and welcome to my blog! If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting and do come back.
I have already posted about spam on this blog. Email spam and SMS spam, email being the focus. But now it has really reached epic proportions. Not a day goes by when I don’t get SMS’d about winning something stupid, paying someone stupid or someone stupid bugging me.
I need to ask a very serious and honest question: Where do these people get my number from?
Today it was my brother who was SMS’d the following:
CONGRATULATIONS you have won an INFLATABLE BED from HOMEMARK. To Claim your prize call 011 430 6000 quote ref: xxxxxx. Terms & Con apply.Reply NO to be removed.
Now notice how they abbreviated “conditions” to “Con” ironic hey? Then they do mention that I can reply NO to be removed, but they haven’t said from what? If I have honestly won something why would they be giving me the option to be removed?
I called the number and this is what they wanted:
Me: Hi I’ve won a bed.
Call Assistant: Wonderful sir, our winning caller lines are busy please could I have your name and number for our database so that we can call you back?
Me: No thank you, I just want my bed.
Call Assistant: Yes sir, but I will need your name and number so that we can call you back.
Me: Speaking of my number, where did you get it?
Call Assistant: One of your friends or family must have provided your details when they bought something from us.
Me: Well I don’t agree with that.
Call Assistant: If you give me your number sir, I can remove it from our database.
Me: Yes thanks.
Call Assistant: Thank you sir.
What a scam! All they were after was my name and number, there was no bloody bed. Homemark is all over the TV all bloody day, is that not bad enough? Now I need to be spammed when I’m not watching TV too?

I also received this stupid sms. First of all I didn’t enter this competition so you can imagine how surprised I was when I received the sms. I called Homemark and a guy named TJ answered the call and he did not even ask for my ref number but I asked him if I should give it to him, he told me the terms and con apply mean that I should fork out R99 for delivery and postage. I then asked him why would Homemark say that I have won if I still have to pay. He insisted that I give him my credit card details or if I don’t ask a friend. This is after I told them I don’t have a credit card. I asked him to give me they banking details and as soon as the bed arrives I would pay the money but he would not here of it. I have not claim my prize and I don’t think I should or anybody. If have won, number one noone would ask you to be removed off the comp and number two you would not pay for anything.
I’ve worked with competition and not once have I told the winner “Oh please send me some stamps so I can send your prize”,-Thanks
I am very dissappointed with Homemark for conning people making them believe that they have won when the haven’t.
Nice post,
,thank you!
inflatable….
Hi. I was just scammed with the same message. I thought it was too good to be true, cause i did not enter any competitions. Luckily I didn’t give my credit card details.
How can these people be stopped. It give big companies like Homemark a BAD NAME!!!!
i received the message yesterday, 11 september 2007 and what funny is that i smelled a rat the munite it said congratulations. to be honest i have never entered anything i wouldn’t remember. the other thing that was amazing was the time i received the message. i receive it at 18:26 but on my phone it said 19:21. i called today and the guy’s name is candy and i too had to pay R99.00 in order to get my price.
i immediately googled Homemark and that’s when i saw your blog.thank you for saving me and others.
Hi Connie, I’m really glad I could help. This sort of rubbish scam really gets under my skin!! Alot!!
Hope you weren’t taken for a ride!
I also recieved two sms’s yesterday and the funny thing is i didnt even enter the competition, when i called this morning to claim my prize the guys told me that i have to pay R 99.00 for delivery i smelled a rat and put the phone down. I then went onto the website of homemark and much to my surprize i came across the scam.
i would just like to tell you that i have already won an battery/electric shaver as well as a hands free tin opener. i am now waiting for my italian cofee machine that i’ve won. service is quick and i do not pay by credit card but make a direct payment into homemarks’s account. all you have to pay is the delivery fee as it is a door to door delivery. so far i am a satisfied customer. thanx. don’t be so sceptic about everything
HI Mina,
Thanks for the input. Glad to know that someone is benefitting other than homemark. However you seem to be few and far between.
I am still irritated with the “spam” nature of their marketing ploys!
I did, like Mina, take them up on their offer but discovered that, besides the postage of R99-00, they wanted me to buy the sofa bed and give me a matress as a bonus. I didn’t have any problem with these as I’ve always wanted the sofa bed but I would like everyone who is on the market for a similar product to give the sofa bed as wide a berth as possible as it is a fraud. There are so many holes in it which one has to plug with a messy glue that it’s not worth it. It even spawns new holes by the week.
As all the others, I also received the message about winning a “inflatable bed”. I’m a competitions “freek”, but still couldn’t remember entring a competition with a inflatble bed as a prize, but still, being sceptic, I phoned just to find out that if I didn’t have a credit card I could not claim my “prize”. It looks rather to me like a credit card scam, what else??

1stly I alsow want to thank you for saving me from this competition, they alsow told me that i have won an BED . so, when I phone to claim the thing , I was very exited about this bed thing , but when i spoke to the lady (did`nt even gave her name)she told me that this bed need a pump and it cost R299 but I can get it for R145 from her , but the cherry on the cake was that she did`nt ask`t me to bay it she forced the stupid thing to me , so now I know when she is going to phone me back tomorrow I am just going to put the phone down.
I just want to say fuck homemark and all home marks products
I just got the message 5 mins ago. Luckily I considered it to be a scam. But i’m gonna ask to fetch it from a Homemark store…
Ek is ook so gevang maar gelukkig kry ek my geld terug.
I also recieved a message that I have won a knife set worth R399 and like so many others, have not entered any competitions. the lady that was supposedly from Homemark insisted that i give her my mobile number. When I asked her y becoz I recieved an sms, she said it was for security purposes. She then told me about the R99 and she needed my credit card details becoz thats the only way to pay. When I refused, she started becoming very agressive and arrogant so I cut the call.
Just a warning about Homemark and their sleazy sms marketing AGAIN!
I recently received an sleazy Homemark (Vodacom Agent)sent, sms as follows…
Receive 2 free airline ticket…
To find out how call 011 4306555…
T&C appply.
The TERMS AND CONDITIONS ARE that I take out a 24 month Airtime contract. When I mentioned that I ALREADY have a contract, the Homemark call center agent STILL tried to sell me on the “incredible” value of taking ANOTHER contract!
In my eyes this organisation seems driven by GREEDERSHIP and not leadership. And in 1 x 30c SMS thay have LOST all credibility in my eyes.
I WILL be talking about this in my talks around the country on Leadership and Trust.
Homemark - you have LOST my trust in 20 seconds or LESS.
And I will tell my 200 or so friends, my 3000 subscribers, and my 5000 or so conference delagates about your sleazy and underhanded tactics.

My fiance’ was all excited about an sms he received from homemark that he won a prize but he never entered the competetion, he was going to call them today and i thought i should just read up on homemark first and see the competition and i came across all this correspondence from people. Dissapointing.
Sbongile
I also received an SMS saying I won a knife set..as the no is from a cell and the sms is sms abbreviated…I smelt something fishy….glad I checked up the internet…thanks
Hi all
Thanks for the info. I just won a set of 19 Knives
Perhaps they work in conjunction with the beds you all won? I enter competitions, but I have to admit, I’m rather fussy, lol. I would never have entered to win a knife set. I’d love to string them along, and waste their time like they have wasted mine (ours). It’s disgusitng the tactics that can pass for marketing. Fine, Homemark, send me the knife set, send the beds, but why do you need a credit card? That sounds just like the 419 scams I seem to attract (”I’ll send you $4mil. if you send me $40k)
I’m going to repost on this one. Thanks for the heads up, and foresight!!!
SAME SHIT JUST HAPPENED TO ME!! I’ve worked in a call center and know how important using “bad language” is, on the call(yes i called) I asked “is this BULLSHIT?” she said “no it’s not BULLSHIT!” when can a company’s employee use language like that???, ill test it again when they call back! But I do really want a 19 peice knife set!
I was asleep too when they SMS’d
But, my mind is working here. I think they could send the knife set (and, as I ‘won’ it, I shouldn’t have to pay) and that takes care of one Christmas gift.
Hi all, thanks for the comments, I’m very impressed that this post is still receiving comments!
Keep posting and letting Homemark know that they are not doing themselves any service!
Hi, I also got the sms 3 days ago and took the offer. Paid the R99 from the card and 3 days later the knife set delivered to my door. So they only decide to scam every x caller? Was I the lucky one vnot to be scamed? I think you all are too paranoid. They even phoned me personally to tel me the set is on the way and sent by courier. Think a bit before judging too quickly.
Mike, I think that you partially missed my point. Don’t tell me I’ve won something and then tell me to pay R99 for it on my credit card so that you can have my details for further use.
How did they get my details? All they did was dupe you in to buying a product and you fell for it. There is no win, just a dodgy sales tactic.
Ok, somewhere at some point a form was filled in, on this form maybe a box was ticked or a question asked by someone over the phone giving permition to contact you for special offers on all sort of stuff. Maybe just maybe you forgot when the bank phoned or you applied for a load, insurance that you answered yes. Couldn’t it be? Then the message state you have won a price but you need to pay postage/delivary cost. If you do not want to do not reply on the sms. Ignore it, my mom, sister, dad and wife recieved the same sms that you won a knife set. They ignored the sms and did not receive any sms after that one again for the knife set. Don’t anyone think paying for the delivary is reasonable, ask for banking details to pay in the money. The credit card just makes it easy, and the next time such a sms goes out ignore it if you don’t want the inflatable bed, coffee maker or what ever it is they sent. So the courier company that delivar the price did not say congrats you just won a free delivarry of R99, but Homemark said you won a whatever excluding the postage, pakcaging and delivary what do you think should happen? And the sales person talkin to me was friendly, we made jokes over the phone they also tried for me to join the gold card club but I said no and that was that nothing else. You see every one acting on the message think this is a total scam, it is not. You have one something all you need is to pay the delivary which is fear I think. Thats all folks!
Mike, do you work for Homemark? If not, you should!
I seriously think that something should be done to stop Homemark from ripping people off the way are doing. I paid them R99 for an inflatable bed two months ago and just never heard from them again…who knows how many other peoples R99 they earning interest on!This is a bullshit scam and others should be warned about HOMEMARK!!
Got another of them last night; different ref. number, so that’s two knife sets they ‘owe’ me. But this SMS came very late last night. I mean, that’s now an intrusion.
I phoned them (i.e. a national call at my expense) and the first thing they want is my name. When I asked where they got my number from, I was told that I was nominated by a friend. None of my friends would do this, so I asked again, and they insisted. Not an answer if you ask me, as they couldn’t tell me which friend, etc. Told them to remove my number, so I’m hoping they had the sense to.
As far as I’m concerned, by them not telling me ‘who nominated my number’ they are in contravention of the ECT act, and should compensate all of us.
This is not the way to market. I had never used them before this, but they can be sure I will never from now on, nor will I recommend them. They have lost my business, and many others I know becuase of this.
[...] you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting and do come back.A few months back I posted about Homemark scamming/spamming me over [...]
I get this junk too man, “please contact xx at D&B urgently on 1300655020 and quote ref. xxx. To not receive SMS from D&B reply with N to this message. Thank you.”
I completely feel ya. But they charge me $6.60 per message. So if a guy on the street comes up with a knife and puts a knife to you and demands $6.60, what difference is it? these assholes have also stolen $6.60 from our pockets. Next time it happens (usually at 1pm) I should run into a police station screaming I’M BEING ROBBED! I’M BEING ROBBED! and force the police to do something. ARREST THESE THIEVES!!
First I got the inflatable bed, but they wanted me to pay R299 for the pump!
Then I got the electric shaver, but they wanted R299.00 for the charger!
On both of these occasions I asked them to remove me from the data base, they asked for my ID number. Told them they have my number they don’t need anything else! Told them that if they bother me again, I will be laying a charge of harrassment!
Now I have ‘won’ the knives - sent them a message saying I have now laid the charge and opened a case against them.
let’s see what happens now!
Any law experts out there who know ECT?
I think its about time we were compensated for our time, trouble, and expenses in dealing with these people…
Enough already!!!
I for one will never buy from them, and all my friends and family have been told about these tactics…
hey ppl, i also received a sms on 6 december 14:22 dat said congrats u won a, 19 piece knife set bt wen i foned in at homemark was askd 4 name, sirname and address and asked 4 my credit card details n knew sumthing was not right so i neva gave it coz y should we pay 4 it wen u told dat u r a winner!!!da product or item is nt worth a person sending R99 ON DELIVERY NO MATTER WER IN SA.SO I TINK THEY SCAMING US.tanx 4 this blog otherwize we would av been in the dark
Hey all!
I also thought this was one hell of a scam, I first received the message for the inflatable bed and phone…didn’t have a credit card so I asked if I could pay by direct payment and they said yes, but I didn’t, after a week or 3, I received the next sms about the 19-knife set, I phoned again and they asked me I didn’t claim for the bed, so I thought what the hell, this thing is going to bog me for a long time, so I went to the bank, deposited R180, and 2weeks later, I received my ‘inflatable bed’ without a pump though, and not my 19piece knife set, but that ’slice and dicer’, not that I am complaining, but when I phoned them back to say that they send me an item about a R100.00 more, they hung upped on me, so ja…I am patiently waiting for my next sms…
Hi Nic
I received the exact same sms.And sceptically replied.I spoke to sales department Homemark and received great treatment.Congratulated and all the trimmings.
Next I was inormed that in order to for my prize to be delivered to me I need to pay R99.00, I thought still a good deal. Now here is where things changed,in order to inflate the bed, you need an air pump “DURR”Next they offer you a better deal, you can get your prize and a the much needed pump and, wait for it, a queen size bed with that for R699.00.
I responded I have a pump and the queen size bed so I dont need another one.By the way Verimark sells that same package and the price, R699.00.Never mind that, the consultant then asked if I am a Homemark Gold member,I said no tell me more. She explained the benefits and I thought great I love the cutting edge technology products so I can make use of this card.Annual membership cost R249.95 my “Inflatable Bed Prize” R99.00 postage and packaging total R348.95.
I reluctantly gave them my credit card detail and the ball was rolling.Because I took out the membership I qualified for another “free” gift, great stuff hey?Delivery would be ten days from 28/11/2007.The deduction was made on 2007/12/04-Ref - Homemark Mo NB7337 Sandton.
I decided to start enquiring yesterday when I would receive my gift?I was given the runaround and I then requested that after I made about ten phone calls, that a manager calls me yesterday!I’m still waiting, I called around 07h30 pm today 21/12/2007 and spoke to Connie Gamedie a customer care consultant, she then gave me the shocking news.Homemark dont have stock of the “inflatable bed” now this is a Homemark promotion and I feel cheated.
I gave it to Connie sadly and demanded my money back by lunch time today! I further demande that I receive a call from a Homemark manager, convenietly they are on leave, sipping bladdy Gin and Juice from money of “suckers” like me I suppose.I’m still waiting for the call.
Not holding my breath, damn was I “suckered” but’s it’s wrong and I want my money back and expose these bladdy bloodsuckers.
Any suggestions?Media??
Regards
Paul
Hi Nic
I am pleased to advise, I received my refund from Homemark.
Regards
Paul
Hey Paul, Wow, very impressed, that is great news! Thanks for letting us know!!
It’s very funny how other companies use thses stupid tricks to market,my girlfriend also got this sms saying she won 19 Piece Knife set form Homemark,I asked to forward me the sms,I’ll call on her behalf, but b4 I called I used to google to search for homemark numbers and compare with the one they gave on the sms, while I was browsing through I noticed the comments on this page about the same smss, that was it,I never wasted my airtime to call them. Thanks guys who posted thier comments.
Well…
I phoned, and complained before (see above) They wouldn’t tell me where they got my number, but said they’d remove me from their database. WELL!!!
They’ve bugged me twice today again. I had a few weeks of quiet, and now they’re back at it. At least this was in the daylight hours.
I phoned in again (but Eskom has struck them, lol)
They promise to remove my number, but I don’t belive a thing they say. They also allege now that they’ll tell me how they got my number, as soon as the system is back online.
Well, if nobody has already, I think the media should spread word about this. It’s an annoying, and intrusive marketing scheme.
And I’ve now won 4 knife sets, but have to pay for… duh!!!
I also almost fell for it, thank God I smelt a rat and hung up when they asked for my credit card nubmer so that they debit my account. I think Homemark should get to the bottom of this before the newspapers get wind of it…
Please be aware of planet fitness and their high pressure, predatory sales tactics.
Ill start to share a planet fitness greedership story about a young person who was pressured into signing their most expensive CONTRACT for 3 years. And when they trisd to go and cancell it 7/8 days later they were told “Tough SH!t” you signed a contract!
They were not told about the cooling off period or the other hidden stuff covered by the planet fitness gym contract - pure greedership.
To date he has not even used their premises and they are refusing to cancel the contract unless planet fitness receive around R4000 in compensation as a 1 once off payment!
I have made 9+ phone calls to planet fitness head office and the Manager of the Gym where my friened was hoodwinked and pressured into signing the planet fitness gym contract.
I have not had 1 call back from the planert fitness manger even though I’ve left 4 messages for him as. Stay tunes
If you have any other planet fitness horror or scam stories - please share them.
My goal, if they don’t cancel this friends’ contract, without the incredible planet fitness cancellation fee, is to STOP 1000+ people from joining planet fitness.
At a Life Time Value of around RR2,000 to 30,000 per potential client, that equates to a few bucks!.
Maybe THEN they’ll stop their greedership and get some integity and soul.
Why must they force this kid to pay money they just don’t have and cannot afford.
Stay tuned as I get this planet fitness horror story into the top PAGES of google.
I would appreciate your assistance and support in weeding out theese greeders like Homemark and planet fitness.
A pissed off Search engine guru…

Hi.
I also received an SMS this morn, I phoned back to enquire…and they where insistent on me giving my Credit Card details… This is a scam.Luckily I did not give my C/Card details…Imagine my surprise when I went onto the web site and found that this is a scam….
Chris
Hi
I got scammed too. I got my bro to pay for the bed on his credit card as I don’t have one. Never heard from them again!!!
I really don’t have the time to phone them and be duped by their slick sales agents.
Will never respond to such sms’ again!!
Don’t even bother with these. you can buy a better quality single blow up Mattress for R 99-00 and the Knife set could be replaced for R70-00.
You know, I received this message at 13h15 today. I promptly phoned them back and what I was told was is the same as most of you guys.He asked for my credit details to debit the delivery fee and luckily I was at work and logged onto the Homemark website while talking to him. I clicked on contact us and Voila! Homemarks contact details could not be displayed. I did this to check whether the number on the sms is the same as the homemark’s on the website.
I then did an alternative search and I was taken to “Jump Shopping” and that is where I got an number 011 444 8800. The lady there connfirmed that 011 430 6000 is their customer care line. What a disappointment to realise that this is really homemark. Shame on them!!!!!!!!!!I’m happy with my ship bed.

My fiance got spammed by Homemark yesterday, saying he won an inflatable bed. I called from a landline (as expensive from cellphone). Spent more than 10 mins on phone passed from pillar to post. Got same rubbish from 7 different consultants - cannot tell me who gave them cell number. I told them what they are doing is unlawful in SA. Asked to speak to manager, none around who cares. Didn’t try the ID number or credit card thing on me, didnt get a chance.
I searched for homemark and saw your blog. Thanks for the great comments, good to know didnt fall for this.
Well, got bugged by them again yesterday. I’m not going to bother to phone again, as I’ve now phoned 3 times, and each time they say they can’t say where they get my number, and promise that it was a mistake, and that they have taken my number off their database. What I’d like to know from everyone, as I do not believe the “we can’t tell you where” story: who here has entered any competitions via SMS lately? And if so, to what SMS number, or competition? Perhaps this is where they are getting (or buying) the numbers. Their actios are NOT lawful in SA according to the ECT act. I will NEVER have anythign to do with Homemark, ever!!!
I’ve got some reading you might be interested in. Check http://homemark.blogspot.com for all your answers
Sorry it took so long to write all the stuff down, but there you go.
Tried to get my number off their annoying database again yesterday (attempt number FOUR)
I eventually walked into a Homemark store, and told them I was there to pick up my dinner set and knives (I’ve won at least 6 knife sets). They were just as unimpressed with the SMS’s.
Got a number from Homemark call centre, but surprise, surprise, no answer there. Apparently you can call 011 430 6227 and speak to a Julie there who will take you off the database, but I’ve had no luck. Either it just rings, or it’s engaged.
Anyone having any luck getting off here, I’d love to know the secret.
Andrew, there is no secret to getting off their so called “database”, as they don’t have one. They generate the numbers in Excel and a daily basis.
Regarding my post>>>>Chantel on December 19th, 2007 1:55 pm Hey all!
I also thought this was one hell of a scam, I first received the message for the inflatable bed and phone…didn’t have a credit card so I asked if I could pay by direct payment and they said yes, but I didn’t, after a week or 3, I received the next sms about the 19-knife set, I phoned again and they asked me I didn’t claim for the bed, so I thought what the hell, this thing is going to bog me for a long time, so I went to the bank, deposited R180, and 2weeks later, I received my ‘inflatable bed’ without a pump though, and not my 19piece knife set, but that ’slice and dicer’, not that I am complaining, but when I phoned them back to say that they send me an item about a R100.00 more, they hung upped on me, so ja…I am patiently waiting for my next sms…<<<<
Iam i the only one that actually recieved my ‘goodies???
lol!!!
Oh by the way, i havnt recieved any new sms’e!
LMAO!!!
To make us all feel ever so slightly better. The guy in the shop I walked into says his brother get the SMS’s too, and says they’re very annoying.
Sigh. Spamming is very profitable, we just need to all ignore them, not buy from them, not reply to the SMS’s, eventually they’ll vanish.
Also got messages from homemark stating that I’ve won everything from an infaltable bed to a cookware set worth R2499.00. We’ll luckily I saw this forum and with the help of a friend manage to get that, and all similar advertisments blocekd from my phone.
If you have a vodacom cellphone dail *140#
and select option 5 to disable all advertisement content from going to you cellphone.
Hope this helps to make things a little less annoying.
Surpricingly i also received the same sms that i was told i won an inflation bed.i was asked to provide my credit card no,with no idea where they got my numbers i gave it to them.only to find is a scam they debted R1.678.00 from my account.ek is gatvol met die ding
I have now tried 5 seperate times to get my number off their list. The last time they said to me I was not on their database, and I was mistaken. I told the woman, Marina, that she needed to look again, as I had just received an SMS. She then told me it was no necessary to speak to her like that (I had just suggested she check again). I think the fact that I have not yelled, or sworn at these people is something of a big effort.
She was supposedly going to get a manager to contact me, as they were all surprised that I was getting the SMS when I was on ‘on their system’. Again I asked where they got my number, and was told that I must have bought something from them, which I never have. They have never told me where they get the numbers from, but as in a previous post of mine, one of their shop assistants has said they generate them randomly via a spreadsheet. I’m not surprised I’m not on their system if that is the case.
I would normally just ignore an errant SMS, but I am receiving these en-mass now, and have been given the run around by everyone I have managed to make contact with at homemark. Most numbers I have tried go unanswered.
This is enough. We should all make a big effort to never buy from them ever…
now you can have inside info from someone who was working there.i would like to call myself “THE VOICE” for now, coz i vowed i was gon take them down.let me give you a small piece of advice if you gave those people your credit card number, you better call your bank immidiately and cancell that card coz they do keep it on the system to spoil themselves in the future.especially if you are one of the so called goldcard members!!!its just a shame that there are actually people who are working as consultants at homemark that are so brainwashed they actually think they have jobs and are investing their futures in that hell hole stealing from people evreryday even on a sunday when others are worshipping in church.i hope GOD shows his mercy on all of you.my advice dont get yourself into trouble see this sms and delete it immidiately
@thevoice I think I’m going to be emailing you sometime soon! Thanks for the warning if you are who you say you are and you did work there, then we all best keep our details secret!

I got the 1300655020 sms today. I’m in Australia. I’ve never entered a competition with my number, or bought anything using the phone by sending an sms, or ever given my number to anyone but my friends.
I reckon vodafone has sold my number to these fuckwits.
After yet another few rounds of yelling, I was promised several times I was no longer on their system, and that they’d make sure that I wasn’t SMSd’, and wouldn’t you know. Guess what’s happened…
I demand payment for each time I read one of these stupid messages. Homemark, you owe me a lot of money…
I got a “Telegram” today, Posted to my home address with the 1300655020, The only way they could get my details, I couldt think of is via the domain databases, I have public whois on all my domains, Something to look in to..
Don’t get sucked into the D&B 1300 655 020 bollocks, they tryed to get my mother in law but she is too cleaver for them!! We phoned back and investigated for her….. and got onto this blog. She had the same thing with the Telephone number and quote ref; Number blah blah blah. STAY AWAY!! Poor thing is in her 70’s people like this should go to Jail!! Dispicable!!
This company is disgusting - they keep trying stupid little ploys of SMS ing people saying they one a prize, and then expecting them to pay x amount for shipping, and buy something else at the same time. I am SO sick of this marketing team.anyone know what other steps can be taking?

Ek moet net R99 delivery charge betaal.
Hier tune hy van die een kant af nadat ek my eerste 4 nommers lees: “O Sir, I see it is an Edgars Credit card?”
Glo my, almal wat my ken het my reeds uitgetrap daaroor.
