No matter what the police tried to do these two protestors refused to let one another go. They were linked at the hands for almost the length of their stroll through the fields in Achturarder.

This man decided that red was the protest colour of choice. And Red he used, all over his body. He stood out in the crowd and definately had his message heard.

The Fish River Marathon is attended by thousands of competitors and spectators alike. Phillip Mortlock managed one of the more difficult rapids with ease and progressed on through the race.

The Grahamstown Festival in South Africa is attended by tens of thousands of people in its 1 week duration. The Parlotones were one of the main acts in 2004’s You Magazine stage performances at the festival.

The Live8 concert held in London in 2005 was attended by approximately 200,000 people. Many of the people who attended were blissfully unaware of the political motivation for the concert. Most were there to see their favourite super stars perform on stage.

The woman pictured above was fairly intoxicated on Edinburgh’s Princess Street. She was not pleased with the police presence and decided to show her disdain accordingly.

Anarchists at the G8 Summit in Scotland were a main cause of violent protests at the Summit marches. Many protestors were fearful of these people and kept their distance from the groups causing the violence.
